There’s so much chaos, confusion, and crisis around us these days. We can not deny the effects rolling through our personal lives. Our work, relationships with our family and friends, finances, and even our spiritual lives are affected.
These external references without proper introspection can create a belief—an absolute certainty that can influence our decision-making processes. Every day we make decisions. These decisions or indecision creates a trajectory that may have a long term effect on our lives and the people that we love.
The mental chaos and confusions are part of the process, believe it or not. Our goal is to pause, break it down to bite-size pieces, place it on a plate, and realize what we are about to eat. Many times, we just gobble them up and suffer the consequences later on.
I hope that people will spend the difficult time to introspect and connect people to leverage some of the solutions that others may have already found, applied in their lives, and were successful.
Clarity requires objectivity and without judgment. Weaving away our narratives or stories—our emotions —and finding your facts vs. truths and accepting our vulnerabilities, forgiving ourselves, and others who may have hurt us.
Our habits or daily actions can contribute to our blur. Social media, television, and other external distractions are only some but maybe a big chunk of the factors that contribute to our obscurity.
However, some of our actions or daily habits are also key to our clarity. Taking a walk, reading books, meditation, spending quality time with family on a dinner table, exercise routines, listening to your favorite podcast or music, or even googling about how to create clarity in your life may help.
This is not a prescription for solving your problems. I am here merely to share my journey. Hopefully, you can find your way in creating your own clarity, make informed decisions based on your current situation, and, most importantly, move you forward.
