How is ANX handling the Omicron variant?

Throughout the pandemic, ANX has made it a top priority to keep our employees and our community safe from COVID-19. We have mandated full vaccination for staff and follow the CDC’s strict guidelines on Infection Control and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including wearing masks in public indoor settings.

What is ANX doing to combat the spread of COVID-19?

We have implemented very strict protocols and adherence to evidence-based infection prevention and control measures to ensure everyone’s health and well-being:

Staff members are screened everyday for exposure to COVID-19 and are instructed to stay home if they (or a member of their household) are demonstrating any illness symptoms

Every patient is pre-screened prior to each clinician visit to determine if they are experiencing any COVID-like symptoms

Account executives maintain a running database of all facilities to stay on top of COVID-19 protocols and be alerted to the presence of any respiratory infections

Staff members are required to wear masks, practice social distancing, and perform frequent hand washing

Clinicians may don Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including fitted N95 masks when working with patients

We are also actively pursuing telehealth options for our patients who are in isolation or refusing in-person visits due to fear of exposure.

What is your vaccine requirement?

Full vaccination is vital in protecting the health and safety of our staff and our communities against COVID-19. Per CDPH, we require all employees who are eligible for a COVID-booster to receive one no later than February 1, 2022, subject to reasonable accommodation policies and procedures. As we continue monitoring COVID-19 updates, we will respond based on the advice of governments, public health authorities, and medical professionals.

What are your COVID-19 programs and protocols?

We follow the CDC’s strict guidelines on infection control and have implemented OSHA’s 3 Lines of Defense (Engineering Controls, Administrative Controls, and PPE) to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Program highlights include:

Telecommute policy and visit management

Hand hygiene stations, barriers, and social distancing

Contact-free pick-up and distribution of medical supplies/equipment

Telehealth and remote monitoring for patients when possible

Infection control training

Daily staff and patient pre-screening

Daily EPRP briefings and bi-monthly Townhall Meetings

COVID-19 Support Groups

Community outreach, education, and testing assistance

Hazard pay and other financial support such as “Gift of Time” and COVID-19 bank

N95 fit-testing for all clinicians

Supply chain management to ensure ample PPE stock
