ANX Home Healthcare & Hospice Care was founded in 2007 by Thomas Rocas III (RN, BSN, CWCS) and Lisa Mangubat (RN, BSN) — two experienced nurses who saw an urgent need for more compassionate, clinically excellent home health and hospice care.
As nurses first and business owners second, they built ANX with a clear purpose: to bring the highest level of clinical expertise and genuine human connection to every patient and family they serve.

OUR PHILOSOPHY OF CARE
Our company name, ANX, is inspired by the Egyptian symbol “ankh” (plural: “ankhs”). The ankh—also known as the crux ansata—symbolizes eternal life, representing both wisdom and insight at the highest level.
In ancient Egypt, the ankh was often depicted in temple scenes as the ultimate gift of life, a symbol of healing and hidden knowledge. At ANX, we embrace this meaning in everything we do — offering our own gift of life and care through compassionate service to patients, families, employees, physicians, and community partners.
